Action required: Deprecation of Kissflow Employee Management Table

Kissflow deprecated the Employee Management Table in mid-January 2024 — employee data now lives in the User Management table, and _employee() is replaced by user().

Action required: Deprecation of Kissflow Employee Management Table

Effective mid-January 2024, Kissflow deprecated the Employee Management Table. After this date, employee details are no longer accessible through that table.

What changed

All employee details previously available in the Employee Management Table are now accessible through the User Management table.

Access is more restricted than before: only User admins, IAM admins, and Super admins can view user details there. Previously, employee details could be shared with a wider set of users.

The _employee() system field is no longer available for new use. Existing fields that referenced _employee() were automatically replaced with user(). Use user() in new workflows going forward.

What to do

If you were sharing employee details with other users through the Employee Management Table, let them know about this change and direct them to a User admin, IAM admin, or Super admin for anything they still need.

Note

This change applies to accounts on the KF Digital Workflow, KF Process, KF Project, KF Workflow Lite, KF Workflow Suite, and KF Workflow plans.
