- FixWhy does my board show "There was an error" or "An unexpected error has occurred" when I open it?A field deleted while still in use often breaks the board; re-add it, then check the browser and network before contacting support.
- How-toWhy can't I set per-status field permissions or action buttons on a board inside an app?Board forms have no configurable action buttons, and per-status field settings are available on standalone boards, not boards inside apps.
- FixWhy does moving a board item to a status connected to a process fail or create an incomplete item?Some field types can't be mapped to the connected process, and settings on the target process can block creation. Check required fields, the first step's assignee, and Submit validations.
- FixWhy does the kanban status count or the connected-items counter show the wrong number?Refresh the page; if the count is still wrong, report it with the board URL. A counter like 1/3 means completed items out of total.
- FixWhy won't my board view save, or why aren't my style and filter changes applied?Re-add any deleted field the view uses, add yourself to the view and board, and clear cache if style changes don't show.
- How-toHow do I let board members see only the items assigned to them?Add them to the board as Restricted members. They see only the items assigned to them and can act on an item only while they're its current assignee.

- FixWhy can't I edit a field on a board item or change its status?Field permissions are set per status. Check the field's setting for the item's current status, and hide required fields that are read-only and empty.
- FixWhy can't users delete board items?Deleting depends on the board role. On standalone boards, initiators delete only their own items and viewers and restricted members can't delete; in apps, give the role Manage permission.
- How-toCan I change a board's URL or ID, or reset its item numbering?No. Renaming doesn't change the board ID in the URL, and item numbers restart only after every item on the board is deleted.
- How-toCan I show board item title fields on separate lines, or hide the side panel on kanban cards?No. Titles stay on one line, so separate values with characters such as | or /, and the item side panel can't be hidden.
- How-toCan external (unlicensed) users update a board item?No; external users can't edit board items, but they can submit a public form whose integration updates the item for them.
- FixWhy can't I filter a board by a lookup field ("No matching results found")?Advanced filters don't work on lookup fields. Copy the lookup value into a text field with a formula and filter on that field.
- FixWhy doesn't the "When a subitem becomes overdue" trigger include the parent item's fields?The trigger returns only subitem data by design, so use the parent ID it returns to fetch the parent item in a later step.
