Reports and analytics

I exported a report but never received the download email. What do I do?

Check spam and mail filters, test a small filtered export to rule out size, try CSV instead of JSON, and ask support to check for a blocked address.

Fix

Short answer: Report exports arrive as an email with a download link. If it doesn't arrive, check spam and mail filters first, then test a smaller export to rule out size.

Why it happens

  • Kissflow sent the email, but a spam filter or mail rule held it.
  • Kissflow blocked the recipient's address.
  • The export is too large and timed out. This happens more with JSON.
  • A temporary export outage on Kissflow's side.

How to fix it

  1. Check Spam, Junk, Promotions and other mail folders.
  2. Ask IT to check mail filters and domain rules, especially if only some users or one email domain are affected.
  3. Edit the report and add a filter so only a few rows remain, then export again. If that arrives, split the full export with filters.
  4. If CSV arrives but JSON doesn't, export as CSV or export a smaller set.
  5. Check whether the user gets other Kissflow emails. If none arrive, the address may be blocked. Contact Kissflow support to unblock it.
  6. If nobody in the account gets exports, contact Kissflow support with the report URL, the row and column counts, and the time of your last attempt.

Important

Only tabular reports and the All Items report can be exported. If CSV is greyed out, the form has more than one table or the report includes a workflow step; use CSV (Multiple files) or JSON.
