Short answer: You can add several deadline alerts at different times, create custom notifications with your own conditions and recipients, and turn predefined notifications on or off. There's no reminder that repeats until the item is approved.
Why it happens
- Deadline alerts are set per step. Each alert fires once, at the time you set.
- Predefined notifications can't be deleted, only turned on or off.
How to fix it
For staged reminders:
- Add a deadline to the step.
- Click + Add an action several times. Add Notify alerts at different times, and an Escalate alert to a manager for the last one.
To nudge an assignee by hand, @mention them in the item's comments.
To send notifications only in some cases:
- Click Manage > Settings > Notification settings.
- Click + New notification, pick the event, and set conditions and recipients.
- Customize the email, web app and bot content, then click Create. See Process notifications.
To stop a notification, toggle it off in the same list. This includes process management notifications such as Member added to the process. See Notification events in processes.
To reach people outside Kissflow, or build a list at runtime, use the Email connector in an integration. Pull the address from an email or lookup field.
If an email shows an item number with decimals, map a Text copy of the number instead of the Number field.
