Fix
Short answer: Rule out your network and browser first. If the report is still slow, heavy filters or high back-end load are the likely cause; retry later and send the report link to Kissflow support if it continues.
Why it happens
- Local network problems: latency, a firewall or proxy rule, or a VPN.
- Heavily filtered reports on large processes can hit query timeouts.
- Many users opening heavy reports at the same time slow the back end.
How to fix it
- Try another network, turn off any VPN, and open the report in an incognito window.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Ask IT to check latency, firewall and proxy rules, and that the Kissflow domains are allowed. See ensuring smooth access to Kissflow.
- Check whether it happens in every browser and on every device.
- If many people use the process at the same time, wait and retry.
- As a stopgap, apply the same columns and filters to the All Items report, or export the report and filter it in a spreadsheet.
- Simplify heavy filters where you can.
If it continues, contact Kissflow support with the report links. They may ask for browser console logs.
Tip
Retrying often works when the slowness comes from temporary back-end load.
