Fix
Short answer: If a system field such as Completed at or Request number isn't offered as a report column, copy it into a computed form field and report on that field instead.
Why it happens
- A process report's System fields list covers fields such as Name, Created at, Modified at, Current step and Status. Completed at and Request number may not be offered.
- Modified at changes every time anyone edits the item, so it doesn't record when the item completed.
How to fix it
To add Completed at or Request number:
- In the process form, add a Date & Time field (for Completed at) or a Number field (for Request number).
- Turn on Is this a computed field? and enter
_completed_ator_request_number. See system fields. - Click Go live, then add the new field to the report.
To record when a specific step was approved:
- Add a Date & Time field to the form.
- Create an integration with the trigger When an item is approved by an assignee at this step.
- Add Update an item and map the time into the new field.
Without form changes, add the last workflow step to the report and use its Acted at value as the completion time. To include step data in an export, export as multiple CSV or JSON files.
To measure turnaround time, add a Number field with a formula such as dateDiff(_created_at, _completed_at, "Hour"). See dateDiff function.
Important
Computed fields fill only for items created or updated after you add them. Older items stay empty.
