Child tables

Why doesn't a child table prefilled by "When an item is created" show until I refresh?

The integration writes the rows a few seconds after New item is clicked, and the open form doesn't reload. Refresh the page.

Fix

Short answer: The integration runs when you click New item, but the rows land a few seconds later. Refresh the page to see them.

Why it happens

  • When an item is created fires as soon as someone clicks New item. See the Kissflow Process connector.
  • The integration takes a few seconds to write the rows.
  • The form is already open and doesn't reload on its own.

How to fix it

  1. Click New item.
  2. Wait a few seconds, then refresh the page. The prefilled rows now appear.
  3. If the rows still don't show, open Run history in managing integrations and check that the run succeeded and the Update an item action wasn't skipped.

Public forms behave the same way, because the same trigger fills the table after the form has opened.

Important

There's no setting that shows the prefilled rows on first open without a refresh.
