A process form inside my app won't open, or its pop-up stays on "processing"

Short answer: A form that never finishes loading usually has fields that depend on each other in a loop. Remove the loop. If the form is missing in the Dev builder, close every open flow and clear your browser cache.

Why it happens

• Formulas or lookups that refer to each other in a circle keep the form from loading.
• A process form left open for editing can stay locked and disappear from the Dev builder.

How to fix it

If the pop-up stays on "processing":

1. Open the form in the app builder.
2. Look for fields whose formulas or lookups refer to each other, directly or through another field.
3. Remove one side of the loop and publish.

If the process form is missing in the development environment:

1. Close every open flow in the app with the X.
2. Clear your browser cookies and cache.
3. Open the app builder again.

If you see a blank page, clear your cache and cookies and try again.
