I renamed my process, but the URL or New item heading still shows the old name

Short answer: Renaming only changes the display name. The URL contains the process ID, which is created from the original name and can't change. Update the form title separately in process settings.

Why it happens

• The process ID is generated when you create the process and is fixed after that.
• Item titles come from the form title setting, which may still use the old name.
• Name changes apply to new items. Existing items keep their title.

How to fix it

To change the title shown on items:

1. Click Manage > Settings and stay on the General tab.
2. Under the form title, click Add (+) and arrange the system or form fields that make up the title, such as the flow name, then click Save.

To get a URL with the new name:

1. Duplicate the process and give the copy the new name. It gets a new process ID and URL.
2. Move users and integrations to the copy. Items stay in the original.

If the name still looks wrong in some places, clear the browser cache or check in a private window.
