Short answer: Build an integration with a board trigger and the Update an item action, and map the user's ID into Assignee. Run its actions with a service account so items don't show your name as requester.
Why it happens
The Assignee picker lists the users in the roles from the board's share settings, and you can't filter it. Items created by an integration show the integration owner as the requester, because the action runs with that person's credentials.
How to fix it
- Create an integration with a Kissflow Board trigger: When an item is created or When the status of an item is updated.
- Select the board and click Test trigger.
- Add the action Kissflow Board > Update an item.
- Map the user's User ID into the Assignee field. To pick the user based on a form value, use a formula with
if(). - Test the action, then turn on the integration.
Stop your name showing as requester
Authenticate the integration's actions with a service account access key instead of your own. Items it creates then don't show you as the requester.
