How-to
Short answer: A process or board report covers only its own flow. To combine flows, write an Analytics dataview with UNION or JOIN, then build the report on the dataview.
Why it happens
- Each process or board report reads from one flow. You can't move or copy a report into another flow.
- Dataviews let you combine several data sources with a Snowflake SQL query.
How to fix it
- Open Analytics and click Create dataview. Inside an app, go to Data > Analytics > Dataviews > Create dataview.
- Write the query:
-
To stack flows with the same columns, use
UNION. Replace the table names with your board or process IDs:SELECT "_id" AS "ID", "Name" AS "Task name", "_status_name" AS "Task status", "_flow_name" AS "Board name" FROM "Task_management" UNION SELECT "_id", "Name", "_status_name", "_flow_name" FROM "Access_Requests" -
To link flows that share a value, use
JOINon that unique field. -
To limit a system table to one process, add
WHERE "_model_id" = 'Process_ID'.
-
- Click Run, then Publish. Inside an app, click Save to publish.
- Click Create report and choose a table, chart or pivot.
If a board doesn't show in the dataview editor list, check that you used the correct data source ID in the query. Table names are case-sensitive.

Important
Analytics inside an app covers only that app's data. You can't combine data from two apps in one dataview.
